Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced that his office has launched an investigation into the state teachers’ pension system and whether its board is acting in the best interests of teachers.

Teachers who work in every public district in the state pay into this.

There are more than 21,000 active members in the Miami Valley, more than half of whom receive benefits.
