ATCEMS: 1 dead after car-bike accident on US toll road 183

AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person is dead after a fatal car-bike crash on U.S. Tollway 183 Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.

At approximately 3:59 p.m., paramedics responded to the crash in the 7300 block of US 183 Toll southbound. This is near US Highway 290.

Motorists should expect lengthy traffic closures while the investigation continues. The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) said all southbound lanes were closed due to the crash.
