Missing person alert for 72-year-old Missoula woman with dementia | Condition

MISSOULA, Mont. – There is a missing person alert for a Missoula woman who may be in the Havre area Friday.

The Montana Department of Justice said in the Missing Endangered Persons alert that Debra Lee Hellebust, 72, was last seen walking, but she is known to frequently search for a former home in the Havre area, possibly hitchhiking hitchhiked there.

Hellebust suffers from dementia, needs her medication and is known to be unaware of placing herself in threatening situations due to her confusion, the Justice Department said.

She is described as 1.50 meters tall, weighing 50 kilograms, with brown eyes and gray hair.
