Man arrested in juvenile rape case in Montgomery County, Maryland

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been a victim to call the Child Exploitation Unit of the Special Victim Investigations Unit.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. – A 33-year-old man was arrested in Montgomery County on charges of raping a juvenile, police said Friday.

Eric Bacon was charged with burglary and rape of a minor.

According to police, on April 24, Bacon entered the victim’s apartment in the 15000 block of Frederick Road.

Around 3 p.m., the victim came home and found Bacon in the house. Police say Bacon sexually assaulted the victim and then left the apartment with stolen property.

According to police, the victim’s brother came home around 7 p.m. and saw Bacon outside her apartment.

Bacon was arrested by patrol officers on April 26 in the 15900 block of Frederick Road.


Investigators believe there may be more victims and are asking anyone who may have been a victim of Bacon to call the Special Victim’s Investigations Division’s Child Exploitation Unit at (240) 773-5400 or Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at (866). ) to call 411-TIPS (8477). Callers can remain anonymous.
