Third incident reported outside Drake’s Toronto mansion

After one of the rapper’s security guards was shot earlier this week, two people have since attempted to enter Drake’s Bridle Path property

Drake’s Toronto mansion continues to be a magnet for police activity this week, as another intruder was arrested at the Bridle Path property on Thursday.

On Wednesday and Thursday, people attempting to enter Drake’s property were encountered by his security detail and eventually arrested by police. Rolling Stone confirmed that the first person was arrested under the Ontario Mental Health Act and therefore their identity was not revealed. The incident is not being treated as a criminal matter.

According to NBC News, a second person attempted to break in outside Drake’s mansion on Thursday afternoon and was also met by the rapper’s security. An altercation ensued, resulting in the intruder being taken to the hospital. Toronto police have not yet released details about the second intruder.

Both incidents followed a shooting earlier this week outside the Bridle Path estate, in which one of Drake’s security guards suffered an apparent gunshot wound. That man was taken to hospital with “very serious injuries” and remains there, said Inspector Paul Krawczyk of Toronto police Rolling Stone.

The suspect reportedly fled in a vehicle after the shooting, but no descriptions of the person or car are available. The investigations are still ongoing.

All three incidents come amid Drake’s ongoing war of words with Kendrick Lamar, which has spawned over half a dozen dissident tracks, including “Not Like Us,” which featured the cover of a satellite photo of the Bridle Path estate littered with used markers was a registered sex offender for the apartments. However, there is no evidence that the incidents at Drake’s mansion are in any way connected to the rap controversy, which has remained quiet since the release of Drake’s “The Heart Part 6.”
