Man arrested for sexually abusing girl who walked in during burglary in Montgomery County: PD

Eric Bacon was arrested late last month and charged with burglary and first-degree rape of a minor. Now investigators fear that there could be more victims.

According to the Montgomery County Police Department, on Wednesday, April 24, Bacon entered an apartment in the 15000 block of Frederick Road, and around 3 p.m. that day, a girl came home and found him in her house.

It is alleged that Bacon sexually abused the victim and made off with an undisclosed amount of stolen property. When her brother came home hours later, he said he saw Bacon outside the apartment.

Bacon was arrested two days later in the 15900 block of Frederick Road when he was spotted by officers on routine patrol.

Investigators say they are now concerned there may be more victims who have not come forward.

Anyone who may have been a victim of Bacon was asked to contact the department’s Child Exploitation Unit at (240) 773-5400.
