Tarrant police are searching for a man accused of attempted murder after several vehicles were allegedly vandalized

TARRANT, Ala. (WBRC) – Tarrant police are searching for a man who allegedly repeatedly rammed into another person’s vehicle and fled the scene in April.

Tony Marvell Murray is wanted on two counts of attempted murder, second-degree domestic violence, first-degree theft of property and leaving the scene of an accident.

According to authorities, Tarrant police officers were dispatched to a gas station at 2525 Pinson Valley Parkway on April 17 for reports that a man had rammed his vehicle into another. When officers arrived, they found four damaged vehicles.

In surveillance footage provided to police, a person who witnesses say is Murray can be seen driving a black Cadillac while the unnamed victim sat in a Dodge Charger.

After the incident, it was reported that Murray fled the scene in the victim’s yellow box truck.

Police said the incident was related to a domestic disturbance at the neighboring business.

The van used to escape the scene of the accident was later recovered in Birmingham.

Anyone with information about Murray’s whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities. If anyone knows more about the incident at the gas station, they are asked to contact Sergeant Derrick Williamson at (205) 948-3218.
