ROSEBURG POLICE CHARGE MAN EARLY FRIDAY FOR DUII ALCOHOL – KQEN News Radio

Roseburg police cited a man following a traffic stop early Friday.

According to an RPD report, an officer stopped a vehicle near the corner of Southeast Fowler Street and Southeast Douglas Avenue at 12:15 a.m. after observing violations. They contacted the 49-year-old driver, who showed signs of impairment and refused to complete standard field sobriety tests.

The man was taken into custody without incident and transported to the correctional facility, where he was charged with driving under the influence of an intoxicant and released. His vehicle was driven home by a sober driver.
