Four arrested in Niger for raping and cutting boy’s manhood – Guardian Life – The Guardian Nigeria News – Nigeria and world news

The Nigeria National Chapter of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) has arrested four suspects who chopped off the penis of a two-year-old boy.

The arrested suspects are Rabiu Murtala (33), Suleiman Gambo (19), Yusufa Murtala (22) and Aliyu Amiru (20), all from Niger State.

“The four criminal gangs cut off the manhood of this two-year-old boy,” said NSCDC commander Joachim Okafor.

Okafor also revealed that the suspects had kidnapped a 13-year-old girl.

“They took turns raping her to fulfill the condition of arming her against all kinds of weapons and ammunition,” he said.

The suspects and the boy’s father are family friends.

The father is seeking support for reconstructive surgery for his son because he wants a normal life.

Rabiu Murtala, one of the suspects, blamed the crime on the devil.

He clarified that an herbalist had asked them to bring a male genital for a spell.

According to the father of one of the two, the herbalist told them that the male organ was supposed to be a defense against all types of weapons and ammunition.

Efforts to find the medicine man identified as Baba Sada have not yielded any positive results so far.

The commander said his team would step up efforts to arrest him and bring him to justice.
