Two people died in a car accident

DELTA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) – Bradley Joseph Armendariz of Delta and Tasha Nicole Cruz of Montrose died in a car accident on Colorado 65 in Delta County on April 28. At some point during the night, at kilometer 3.5, the driver lost control of the Ford Expedition and it overturned, ejecting the two people who were not wearing seatbelts from the car.

At 11:32 p.m., officers found a deceased man in the rubble. They also found a woman who later died on the way to the hospital, according to Delta County Sheriff Mark Taylor. The Colorado State Patrol is still investigating the crash to determine whether speed or drug abuse was a factor.
