One arrested after police clear pro-Palestinian camp at UNC Charlotte – WSOC TV

CHARLOTTE – One person was arrested after police cleared a pro-Palestinian camp at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

The incident began around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning on campus.

Police said it was unclear whether the person arrested was a student at the university.

UNC Charlotte’s police chief told Channel 9 they responded to the incident.

However, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police were nearby in case assistance was needed.
