NSCDC arrests man for allegedly raping four-year-old girl in Ekiti

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Ekiti State Command, has arrested one Afolabi Ojo of Olujoda Street, Ado-Ekiti, popularly known as Afo, for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl.

The suspect was arrested after the girl’s mother lodged a formal complaint at the NSCDC office in Ado-Ekiti.

The four-year-old claimed Afo took off her pants and had carnal knowledge of her late last month.

Likewise, the girl’s mother, speaking to journalists, said that her daughter informed her about the incident.

However, the suspect denied all claims that he was involved.

Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer of the NSCDC, Tolu Afolabi, said a medical report confirmed that the “little” girl’s hymen was broken, adding that investigation was ongoing.
