Husband and wife found dead of possible murder-suicide

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Two people were killed in a shooting Thursday night in Maury City, Tennessee, according to the Crockett County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers said they responded to the shooting at 3230 Highway 80 at 4:45 p.m., where they found a woman shot and unresponsive.

They also said they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Both victims were pronounced dead, officials say. They were husband and wife.

The Sheriff’s Department says this is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
