33-year-old man dead after shooting near Arby’s in Dayton – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

DAYTON – A man is dead after a reported shooting in Dayton early Sunday morning.

The shooting was reported in the 2800 block of Salem Avenue near Arby’s.

“I heard the bang, bang, bang,” a 911 caller told the dispatcher.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office identified the victim Tuesday as 33-year-old Morrell Fontenot.
