Man tried to sexually abuse woman in car repair shop toilet

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – A man was arrested for allegedly attempting to sexually assault a woman in the restroom of an auto repair shop on Tuesday, July 29.

According to police, 30-year-old Eleno Cervantes allegedly followed a woman into the bathroom and attempted to sexually assault her.

Cervantes was charged with attempted second-degree rape, sexual assault, first-degree kidnapping and assault on a female.

He is being held without bail.
