New Hampshire police chase leads to four arrests – NBC Boston

Four people were arrested Monday evening after a chase through several towns in New Hampshire.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Monday, a New Hampshire State Police trooper attempted to stop a 2011 Subaru Outback on Hall Street in Concord. The driver of the Subaru refused to stop and instead drove away.

The driver continued south on Route 3A to Bow and eventually into the city center. Additional police officers were dispatched and were able to successfully deploy a tire pressure valve on Robinson Road, which deflated two of the vehicle’s tires. However, the driver fled towards Dunbarton despite having two flat tires.

Police were able to intercept the vehicle at the Goffstown border and deploy another tire pressure valve, deflating a third tire. However, the vehicle continued to refuse to stop and continued to drive erratically toward Manchester and Interstate 293. The driver eventually stopped on South Main Street in Manchester, where police were able to arrest him and his three passengers.

The driver, identified by police as 46-year-old Michael Gruette of Center Barnstead, is charged with reckless driving, disobeying an officer, multiple counts of reckless conduct and driving while license suspended. It was also discovered that he had additional warrants out of Concord for his arrest.

According to state police, arrest warrants were also issued against the three vehicle occupants, whose names were not released.
