Wednesday heavy rain, Thursday heavy storms possible

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Wednesday and Thursday are First Alert Weather Days, with unsettled weather expected on both days.

Rain is expected to move through the Tri-State region from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. Wednesday, potentially disrupting morning rush hour traffic, FOX19 NOW’s First Alert Weather team reports.

Concerns include standing water and gusty winds, according to the weather team.

There is a renewed risk of severe storms on Thursday, the weather team said.

There is a low risk of severe weather throughout the tri-border region (2 out of 5).

The main dangers are destructive winds, isolated tornadoes and heavy rain.

The schedule for the possible severe weather is after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
