Ada man charged with sexual abuse of child

ADA, Oklahoma (KFOR) – An Ada man is facing child sexual abuse charges, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said.

According to the OSBI, on July 17, 2024, the Pontotoc County District Attorney’s Office requested assistance in investigating a child abuse case.

Based on the evidence found during the investigation, OSBI special agents concluded that 72-year-old Michael Priest committed multiple sexual assaults on a child.

According to officials, Priest was arrested on July 25 and booked into the Pontotoc County Jail on charges of sexual abuse of a child.

The investigation is ongoing.
