Second Annual Elmwood Village Arts Festival

The second annual Elmwood Village Artfest is scheduled for Saturday, August 24 (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sunday, August 25 (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The two-day event, a celebration of creativity, community and culture, will feature over 100 artists setting up shop in front of stores and in enclosed parking lots. There will also be artists and food trucks, as well as numerous sales and promotions at many businesses along Elmwood Avenue. Additionally, food and beverages, as well as live entertainment, will be served on Bidwell Parkway throughout the day, and Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church (875 Elmwood Avenue) will host a “Kidzone.” A full schedule is available here.

The Elmwood Village Artfest is a direct response to the abrupt end of the beloved Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts—an unfortunate decision that took the entire community by surprise. Fortunately, the Elmwood Village Association has decided to step up to the plate to ensure that some semblance of this art-filled summer tradition survives, grows, and thrives year after year.
