Tomah man charged with stabbing

TOMAH, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Tomah man is now facing charges after he was stabbed at an assisted living facility last weekend. Jorge Luis Santos-Martinez, 49, is charged in Monroe County Court with attempted first-degree premeditated murder and four other counts.

According to the criminal complaint, Martinez lives at the Hollister House in Tomah. On Saturday (05/04/24), an employee at the home told police that they were stabbed by Martinez after Martinez didn’t get juice. Martinez says he did not argue with the employee.

A cash bond is set at $100,000.
