A Joliet man is dead following a two-vehicle crash on Route 52 east of Lisbon Road in Big Grove Township Wednesday evening, according to the Kendall County Coroner’s Office.

The deceased was 48-year-old Rodrigo Lopez of Joliet.

According to the coroner, Lopez died from multiple injuries as a result of the accident, which occurred around 7 a.m. Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Illinois State Police assisted in the investigation.
