Sammy Guevera’s AEW Suspension Status Revealed

Sammy Guevara was involved in a highly publicized incident with legendary AEW acquisition Jeff Hardy, who was expected to add more star power and credibility to the roster. However, the journey was full of challenges and setbacks.

The most recent setback occurred during Hardy’s in-ring encounter with the AEW star himself. Following their match on February 14, Sammy Guevara was suspended for his involvement in the match, which resulted in Hardy sustaining an injury.

Previous reports suggested that Guevara’s suspension from AEW was ongoing, stemming from the misunderstandings during his match with Jeff Hardy, where he performed a GTH on an already injured Hardy.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Spanish God is no longer suspended from AEW. However, there is currently no word on planned storylines for Sammy Guevara, although some suggestions have been made.

“Sammy Guevara is no longer suspended by AEW, but there is no information on when he will be reintroduced to storylines. Things were advertised but nothing was confirmed.”

Despite the setback, Guevara remains determined to overcome obstacles and pursue his wrestling ambitions. Now that Sammy Guevara is reportedly no longer suspended, it will be interesting to see him return to the AEW fold for compelling storylines.
