Buffalo man shot dead outside Broadway store

A 20-year-old Buffalo man was fatally shot Monday afternoon in the 1400 block of Broadway, between Fillmore and Bailey avenues, Buffalo police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge said.

According to the report, detectives said the man was shot multiple times after exiting a store around 5:45 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to DeGeorge, police believe the shooting was targeted in nature. Anyone with information is asked to call or text the Buffalo Police Department’s confidential Tipcall line at 716-847-2255.
