Murder suspect released from jail for raping daughter in Nirmal district of Telangana | Hyderabad News

HYDERABAD: Police have arrested a 38-year-old murder convict for allegedly raping his 14-year-old daughter in Nirmal district. The accused was released only six months ago after serving his sentence in a murder case, police said.

The district police booked the man under the Pocso Act for rape. A court ordered his judicial custody.

Police said the man was convicted by the district court for the murder of his second wife in 2014 and was serving a 10-year prison sentence. “He killed his second wife because he suspected her of having an extramarital affair,” police said.

“Girl’s mother filed suit against husband”
After his release from prison, he lived with his first wife and children. Now he has raped his daughter several times, police said.

“He threatened to kill his daughter if she told anyone about her ordeal,” police said. Recently, the girl’s mother went to the police and filed a complaint against her husband.
