Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office Investigating ‘Suspicious’ Fire in Gibbon

GIBBON, Neb. (KSNB) – The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help with a fire that happened early Monday morning in Gibbon.

According to the sheriff’s office, the Gibbon Volunteer Fire Department responded to a four-plex apartment complex on Garfield Street before 2 a.m. No one was injured in the fire, but an investigation is now underway as the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office said the circumstances surrounding the fire are considered suspicious.

The BCSO is urging anyone with doorbell or security camera footage from 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday to review it for unusual activity.
