Man on Lynx bus follows woman off bus and assaults her at UCF Downtown – WFTV

ORLANDO, Fla. – University of Central Florida police said Monday that a woman was sexually assaulted on the university’s downtown Orlando campus Sunday night.

According to the police report, a man in a Lynx bus followed a woman who rode the same bus into the Amelia Street Garage, located at the corner of West Amelia Street and North Hughey Avenue.

They said he grabbed her wrist and dragged her into a stairwell.

“By reporting the incident to police in a timely manner and providing a detailed description of the survivor, UCF Police Detectives were able to quickly identify the suspect and are now working to obtain a warrant for his arrest,” police said in a press release.

Neither the victim nor the suspect have any connection to UCF.
