Man found dead on the side of Highway 321 in Caldwell Co.

PATTERSON, NC (WBTV) – The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was found dead on the side of a highway early Sunday morning.

Officers said they were called to check on a man lying on the side of the road on Highway 321 North near Patterson. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a Hispanic man dead.

The man’s identity was not disclosed.

The investigation is ongoing, but officials have not provided any information on whether any arrests have been made.
