One dead in traffic accident in TRF

According to police, one person was killed in a car accident in Thief River Falls early Sunday.

Officers responded to a report of a car crash at the intersection of Oak Avenue North and Centennial Drive just before 2 a.m. on July 28 and found a 2011 Ford pickup truck lying on its roof with a dead passenger inside.

The deceased was identified as Ryan Casey Solberg, 23, of Goodridge.

The incident remains under investigation.
