JCSO: Georgia man charged with sexual exploitation

JOHNSTON COUNTY – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Georgia man for first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

The arrest follows an investigation that began in September 2023.

Christian Jordan Clayboss, 22, of Macon, Georgia, was extradited to North Carolina for trial.

Clayboss is accused of using social media to contact a 14-year-old Johnston County girl. Clayboss allegedly threatened to kill the young girl if she did not send him sexually explicit photos.

Clayboss was held at the Johnston County Detention Center on a $100,000 secured bond.
