Omaha teenager injured in quad bike accident in Cass County

SOUTH BEND, Nebraska (WOWT) – A 15-year-old Omaha boy was injured in a rollover accident involving an ATV in South Bend Saturday afternoon.

Cass County officials, along with Louisville Fire and EMS, were called to the West Lake Park Dr. area at 2 p.m. Saturday.

According to a report, the boy drove over a large bump on an off-road trail, overturned his quad bike and flew over the handlebars.

Officials said the teen’s brother carried him nearby before calling 911.

He was then flown to the hospital by rescue helicopter.
