Emporia man arrested after short chase early Sunday

Charges have been filed against an Emporia man who was allegedly involved in a car chase last weekend.

Lyon County officials arrested 18-year-old Bradyn Douglas Hayes early Sunday. Hayes was arrested on suspicion of attempted escape and kidnapping, hindering law enforcement, driving under the influence and reckless driving.

Details of the prosecution are still pending.
