Paul Heyman is one of the most important figures in the world of professional wrestling who has stood the test of time. WWE recently decided to give the fans an in-depth look into his life inside and outside the ring with a dedicated episode on A&E Biography: WWE Legends.

During the episode on A&E, Heyman revealed an important anecdote from his personal life. The Wiseman stated that the unfortunate 9/11 incident in 2001 gave him a different perspective on life.

In the aftermath of the horrific tragedy, Paul Heyman admitted that it was then that he decided to embrace parenthood and get in touch with his mortality. Heyman realized that his parents were growing old, and he wanted them to know his children and vice-versa.

“I became a father because of 9/11. It was really the first time I got in touch with my mortality. It happened on my 36th birthday and I realized that my parents were getting older and I wanted my parents to know my children and my children to know my parents.”

As he mentioned, Paul Heyman did embrace parenthood and had two children who were in attendance for his WWE Hall of Fame induction this year. On his work front, Heyman was exiled from The Bloodline after he refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief in Madison Square Garden. This refusal led to the faction turning on Heyman and putting him through an announce table at ringside.

Paul Heyman is expected to return to television alongside Roman Reigns. Furthermore, the ongoing Bloodline saga promises to bring more exciting twists, with Heyman undoubtedly accumulating more memorable moments that will continue to change his life for the better.
