Shooting sends man to prison – Salisbury Post

LANDIS – A man from Rowan County got arrested after a domestic shooting that occurred near Landis over the weekend.

Jacob Seth Jennelle was charged with shooting into an occupied property for his alleged role in the incident, according to a release from Landis police.

According to the news release, officers with the Landis Police Department responded to a domestic shooting at the intersection of US 29 and Old Beatty Ford Road at approximately 12:23 p.m. Sunday.

An unidentified victim reportedly suffered minor injuries in the incident were treated on site.

The press release continued: “The Landis Police Department would like to thank the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and the China Grove Police Department for their assistance. We would also like to thank the Rowan County District Attorney’s Office for their assistance Help.

“The safety and well-being of our community members is our top priority. We are committed to thoroughly investigating this incident and are grateful for the cooperation and support of our neighboring law enforcement agencies.”
