State police reconstruct accident in Elizabethtown district

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Pennsylvania State Police in Lancaster County are investigating and reconstructing an accident that left one person injured.

According to police, the driver of a Ram 1500 was traveling at a high rate of speed on Linden Avenue in the Elizabethtown neighborhood and failed to negotiate the curve onto Hanover Street. According to Pennsylvania State Police, the truck went over the curb in the 200 block of Hanover Street and struck a tree.

The driver was seriously injured in the accident and taken to hospital for treatment, police said.
