An investigation is underway at South Hadley Middle School

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – Police are conducting an investigation at Michael E. Smith Middle School in South Hadley Friday morning.

Our 22News team was able to see South Hadley police and firefighters at the school on Bridge Street. One of the fire trucks blocks the entrance.

Police Chief Jennifer Gundersen told 22News officers were at the school, but no further information on the investigation was available. 22News has also contacted the superintendent’s office for more information.
