Hit-and-run driver arrested by Sedalia police

On Thursday morning, Sedalia Police were called to a car accident at the corner of 32nd & Grand.

The male driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot. An officer located and arrested the suspect, who was then transported to the Pettis County Jail for 24 hours.

Juan Samuel Figuero Hernandez, 29, of Sedalia, is now charged with hit-and-run, driving on the highway without a valid license, displaying another person’s license plate and ignoring a stop sign.
