Death investigation underway after diver found unresponsive in waters off Kahuku

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A death investigation is underway after the body of a diver was recovered in Kahuku on Saturday, according to Honolulu police officials.

Police records show the 43-year-old man was found unresponsive around 8:30 pm in waters off Waialee Beach Park.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine how the man died.

The investigation is ongoing.
