IMPD: 1 dead in shooting in northeast Indy

INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after a person was shot in northeast Indy Sunday night.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report that a person had been shot shortly before midnight and moved to the intersection of Meadows Way and Meadows Drive.


When officers arrived, they found a person with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. Investigators believe the person died from his injuries.
