Driver arrested for driving under the influence after rollover crash on Skyway Friday morning | News

CHICO, California – The CHP arrested a Butte County woman on drunken driving charges following a rollover crash early Friday morning in Chico.

The crash happened just after 1 a.m. in the 1800 block of Skyway, east of Chico.

The CHP told Action News Now that the driver was traveling east toward Paradise when her Toyota Corolla crossed the median and rolled into the bushes. The vehicle came to rest on its roof.

The driver was trapped in the vehicle and was pulled out by the fire department. The driver was not injured.

The CHP conducted a field sobriety test and arrested her for driving under the influence.
