Suspects arrested after shooting person in apartment complex and then hiding in nearby complex

COBB COUNTY, Georgia – After a shooting and subsequent search, suspects were put behind bars in Cobb County.

Early Friday morning, Cobb police responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired at an apartment complex on Lorene Drive.

When they arrived at the scene, they found a person who had been shot.

The extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Authorities later discovered that the suspects had fled the crime scene on Lorene Drive to a nearby apartment complex on Austell Road.

Cobb police located the apartment, removed the suspects and took them into custody.

There is currently no further information on what led to the shooting or how many suspects have been arrested.
