Reward offered for information in fatal Houston hit-and-run | Upper Gulf Coast

Houston, Texas – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s) involved in a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of Lenar Andres Talavera.

On Saturday, June 1, 2024, at approximately 11:19 p.m., Talavera was walking southbound in the crosswalk in the 16000 block of Imperial Valley Dr. when he was struck by a red Dodge truck traveling eastbound, according to a news release from the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division. Talavera succumbed to serious injuries sustained in the collision.
