Texans fan gets Tank Dell’s signature tattoo on his leg

Tank Dell made himself a lifelong fan after just one season with the Houston Texans.

After the receiver signed his name on a fan’s leg, the fan proceeded to get an autographed tattoo in the same spot, showing his affinity for the second-year player.

In Dell’s video after Texans training camp, the fan said he would get his signature tattooed on his leg if Dell signed it, and he delivered on his promise.

It’s understandable for fans to be excited about Dell after the rookie season he had last year. The third-round pick threw for 709 yards and seven touchdowns while playing in just 11 games because of a season-ending left fibula fracture he suffered in December.

If he performed this well in his first year in the league, there’s no telling what kind of progress he’ll make this year.

Dell is part of an exciting offense that appears poised to lead the Texans to a big year. Fellow rookie quarterback CJ Stroud also had a terrific first year in the league with 4,108 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns.

Houston’s offense added a new weapon to its roster this offseason with the arrival of Stefon Diggs from the Buffalo Bills. After reaching the divisional round of the playoffs last season, the Texans appear to be on a roll.

As for the fan who carved Dell’s name into his leg, he hopes the wide receiver is in Houston to stay.
