Police: Operator of construction drum roller crashes into house and flees scene in Millcreek Township

MILLCREEK TWP., Pennsylvania (EYT) – A local man has been identified by police as the driver of a construction vehicle that reportedly struck a home and fled the scene of an accident in Millcreek Township.

According to a report released by PSP Clarion on Thursday, May 9, the accident occurred at 1:45 p.m. on Monday, April 29, on Old State Road in Millcreek Township, Clarion County.

According to the police, it is a 47-year-old Roy G Adkinsfrom Clarington, was heading east with a 1999 Tampo construction drum roller during roadworks.

The compactor left the right side of the road and entered a residential courtyard. The front end then crashed into a house, police said.

According to police, Adkins backed up and collided with a tree before fleeing the area and continuing south on Old State Road.

No injuries were reported.

According to police, Adkins received a traffic warning.
