Man arrested and charged with injuring his older sister | State

Houston, Texas – According to Harris County Constable Precinct 2, a man was arrested for injuring his older sister in the Songwood area.

On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, a Second District deputy responded to a call regarding a woman who had been injured by her brother the previous day. The woman, who was over 65 years old, visited a doctor the next morning and discovered that she had sustained additional injuries in the altercation.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has admitted to the charge of assault on the elderly. The suspect, Marvin Hughes, was found on Demaree Lane in the Pleasantville area and arrested without incident, the news release said.
