Buffalo Council Updated on Chamber Events – Sheridan Media

The Buffalo City Council was updated on the latest happenings and events at the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce.

At their last meeting, Chamber Board Chair Amber Eggers thanked the board for the one percent funds they allocated to the chamber.

She also thanked the city for recent work on the chamber office fountain on Highway 16 East.

She said the chamber is preparing for the fair parade and rodeo this Saturday, August 3, and with all the other events going on, it will be a busy day.

She said they were taking bids for the replacement of the awnings on the downtown chamber office and the council had discussed the possibility of putting a mural on the side of their building and would be looking for a young artist who would be willing to do the mural.

She compared the number of visitors in 2023 to that of this year.

She concluded by saying she was grateful that they had the funding to staff the satellite office and keep it open during the summer months.
