PSP: Shots fired during road rage incident in Stroud Township

STROUD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police in Stroudsburg said shots were fired in a road rage incident Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday, shortly after 5 p.m., police said they were called to Interstate 80 Eastbound near mile marker 305.4 in Stroud Township for a road rage incident.


When state police arrived at the scene, it was reported that two of the cars involved in the accident had crashed, but all occupants remained on site.

After the driver and passengers left their cars, several shots were fired, according to PSP.

Troopers say there were no injuries and the incident remains under investigation by the Troop N Major Case Team.
