At least 1 dead, 1 missing after boating accident on Kentucky Lake

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (WDRB) — At least one person is dead in a boating accident early Sunday morning on Rough River Lake.

Falls of Rough Fire Department Fire Chief David Mercer said the incident occurred at the Cave Creek boat ramp and one person is missing.

What happened and whether other people were injured is currently unknown.

The Falls of Rough Fire Department said on Facebook that it was unknown how long the boat ramp would remain closed during the investigation.
