Three people found dead in Maine home – NECN

Three people were found dead in a home in Mechanic Falls, Maine, on Saturday afternoon.

Mechanic Falls police said they requested assistance from the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit after making the discovery at the Highland Ave. residence around 4 p.m.

Autopsies are being performed to determine the cause and manner of death and to positively identify the three individuals. Further information will be released once the autopsies are completed.

Police have not released any information about possible suspects or motives for the killings, but say there is no danger to the public.

The investigation is ongoing.
