Boy shot by ricochet in bedroom in Tamiami neighborhood in Miami-Dade

MIAMI DADE COUNTY, Florida. – Miami-Dade Police searched for a gunman Sunday while an injured 4-year-old boy remained hospitalized.

An argument escalated into gunfire outside the boy’s home, and a stray bullet hit him in his bedroom in the Tamiami neighborhood of Miami-Dade County on Saturday night, police said.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel reported that they found the boy in “critical but stable” condition around 9 p.m. and took him to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.
