Police storm street, area cordoned off after incident

After an incident, police cordoned off a main road.

Police officers were spotted on the city’s High Street on Sunday afternoon.

Barrier tape had been put up around a section of the road and officers could be seen directing traffic.

Other officers were seen taking photographs and conducting investigations at the scene.

A white car was spotted in the middle of the police cordon, but it is unclear whether it was involved in the incident.

Scottish police have been asked for comment.
